"Dearly Departed" returns once again with a new story based on real-life circumstances.  This event has SOLD OUT each year -- so get your tickets early!

Guests will enjoy a 45-minute presentation through the Colonel Palmer House as historians enact an investigation into the circumstances of a body found floating in Crystal Lake.

(6PM - 8PM) - starting every fifteen minutes. Reservations are required!!

Tickets: $8.00 Adults/ $5.00 Seniors (65+)/ $5.00 Children (under 12)

 

"The Mystery of the Body in the Lake"

A major mystery in the 1920's gave the local townspeople plenty to speculate about.  A body was found floating in our lake!!  How did it get there? Who was the victim? Was a crime committed? It was during this time of prohibition that the underworld, corruption, and sale of bootleg alcohol became part of our residents' lives--even in McHenry County.  Become part of the story as you move through the historic home and meet with early 20th century residents as they reveal the facts of the matter.

Tickets: $8.00 Adults / $5.00 Seniors (65+) / $5.00 Children (under 12) 

The performances are scheduled to start every 15 minutes from 6PM-8PM both evenings.  Each performances lasts about 45 minutes.  Reservations are required!!

This will be our third annual "Dearly Departed".  Each year has been a sell-out!  So get your tickets early!

Call our office at 815-455-1151 to reserve your tickets.  If leaving a message, please include your name, phone number, # of tickets requested and tour date & time.  You will receive a return phone call verifying availability and instructions for payment.  Once payment is received your tickets will be mailed to you.

Reserve and pay for your tickets online by using our Online Store option.  Please be certain to include your name, phone number, # of tickets requested and tour date & time.  You will be contacted with verification of information.  Once payment is cleared your tickets will be mailed to you.  (Please note: online payments can be made with a major credit card or with a PayPal account).
